Career path and expertise
Originally from the forests of the Jura, which I roamed throughout my childhood, I got my first name from Britt Lafforgue, an alpine ski champion that my parents admired.
When my family moved to Flaine, I joined the ski-club, mogul skiing section. In a few years I reached the top level and participated in the European Cup. Unfortunately, injuries put an end to my sporting career as well as to my dreams.
But I keep only positive things! This discipline has allowed me to become a complete and versatile skier, who likes to get off the beaten track. As for the experience of competition and its difficulties, it has made me a resilient person. It has given me the strength and expertise to accompany my students in all circumstances, to help them progress and approach skiing with confidence.
I had the chance to live in Chamonix for a few years. There, in the heart of the glaciers, I discovered the high mountain and ski touring.
It is a discipline that I love to practice as much as to teach. Settled in Haute-Tarentaise since 2019, I am starting to know the valley well, its corners and its hidden treasures.
I mainly teach alpine skiing, but I also enjoy teaching ski mountaineering and off-piste skiing. I accompany my students in private lessons or in small groups.
My speciality? One or two day discovery outings, ideally mixed with a meditation, Pilates or Yoga session. Happiness…
